“ Stumbled across this place before the movies and my husband and I LOVEDDD the food!!! I am day dreaming about it while writing this review. LOL We got the grilled beef, dumplings, and chicken ramen. Everything was so flavorful, big portions, and cooked perfectly. Their KIMCHI side dish was also sooooo yummy!!!! Staff were great, checked on us a few times and very attentive. Menu was extensive as well, can't wait to go back and try more! Restaurant was cozy and clean as well. 10/10 food 10/10 service ”

Their food was good, but a litte more underseasoned than what I am used to from a Korean restaurant. The portion size was great and the price was great. I still would, definitely, come back again. ”
“ Good option for kalguksu! I am a big 칼국수 fan and this spot serves nice chewy noodles with a flavorful broth. Really hits the spot on a cold night. Also tried their mandoo (in the soup and separate), and thought they were good as well. The wait time on a Sunday night was about 30 min for 4, so come early. It's right off the bridge in Fort Lee, so not the worst to get to and overall worth it if I'm craving 칼국수. ”
“ Amazing bulgogi! They serve it to you on a metal grill that looks so good that the guy next to me asked what it was. Tastes even better, with burnt crispy edges that taste grilled. Best bulgogi ever, with grilled vegetables. The set also came with pork noodles, MD Kalgusku, which was recommended by the server. Very satisfying meal. The kimchi is slightly better than BCD Tofu House but still not great. I like a fermented kimchi and this one is half sour. ”
“ Food Been coming here occasionally, and their signature MD Kalguksu never disappoints. Though, it seems like their noodle recipe is a bit different than before... Not bad, just different. The broth is supurb though. We also ordered Kalbi there, perfect blend of sweet and savory. You might need to use your hands though! Sauce was amazing. We left full and satisfied. Kimchi side dish was extra galic-y and spicy. Service Amazing service, our kimchi and tea were filled up often and our server checked up on us a lot despite the busy business. They speak both English and Korean there too :) Atmosphere This restaurant seems to be always busy. Great business and for good reason. Parking situation might be a challenge, but the restaurant owner guided us to our parking spot. Extra Looks like they will be opening another restaurant in New York, so we won't need to travel so far to enjoy the same great food! ”
“ This was a repeat visit, with our same lunch companion. At 1:15 on a Saturday afternoon , there was a 5 minute wait. It's a pleasure to see businesses buzzing away since 2020. As soon as there was a free table and we were seated, like clockwork - the house tea and water is served (note: it's BYOB and glasses are provided). While there isn't the whole array of banchan, the house kimchi and white kimchi are exquisite; flavorful, moderately spicy (red kimchi) and not too tart. [NOTE: on a third visit with a friend from Seoul clarified that it's standard to only have kimchi for authentic noodle houses]. Our orders: seafood scallion pancake as an appetizer; mushroom kalguksu, a meat soup, and a seasonal cold buckwheat noodle dish. The pancake was delectable with the seafood perfectly embedded (a little oily for my taste, but somehow maintains its crispness) - the sweet fish sauce for dipping was not always needed. As we like to do when dining out, we exchange tastes of each others' dishes. When requested, extra small bowls were brought for the tasting. Each dish has its own incomparable base (mainly umami so it can't be described and must be experienced), and texture: my mushroom soup had an inexorable amount of delectable mushrooms that didn't get rubbery in the broth, and the vegetable based noodles didn't 'shed gluten' into the broth. My companion's seasonal cold black sesame buckwheat noodle dish (couldn't get a photo of this fast enough) was creamy-rich (but no cream!) and a flavor that tasted like the summer day we were enjoying. You can't come here and not order noodles. They are house made and addicting, in all forms they come in . Absolutely worth the Lyft ride over and back from Midtown Manhattan. ”
“ Conveniently right off the GWB, this spot is in a pretty populated area of Fort Lee. If you can't find parking on the street, there's a parking lot in the back (which most people seem to miss). On a Sunday night, we were frantically running around looking for restaurants that could seat our group of 7. We didn't expect Myung Dong to have a table for us as they're a pretty popular chain from Korea, but we called and they miraculously had a table for us if we got there in 10-15 mins. After we were seated, the staff members were rather hasty and really urged us to order. I don't even think there was a 30 second leeway between all the staff members that rotated to see if we were ready to order. They warned us that we should place our order soon considering how big our group is and it would take a while for the food to come out. The food came out almost immediately after though. The spot is famous for their kalguksu, but I noticed their summer menu was already up (May 2024). We ordered an entree each and a few other items on the menu to share: MANDOO: I personally enjoyed the mandoo, but my friends said otherwise. The skin was very thin and the bottom broke apart pretty easily. Regardless, the filling itself was still very juicy and flavorful though. GALBI JJIM: This was actually really good and more than enough for all of us to share. The meat was tender and fell off the bone. There was an assortment of veggies nestled in there too. This would really hit the spot on a cold, rainy day. MUL NAENGMYUN with a side of GRILLED PORK: They did not skimp out on the noodles here. This bowl was refreshing and very filling for me. They gave each of us who ordered the naengmyun a small container of mustard of vinegar and mustard to adjust to our liking. I wish they gave us more vinegar because it wasn't enough for me. There were a few slices of brisket and a hard-boiled egg; nothing spectacular about it except it was extra protein. The grilled pork wasn't bad either, but also nothing I would write home about. SPICY MUL NAENGMYUN: I normally don't order this, but I had a sip of my friends and I surprisingly liked this more. There was way more flavor in the broth and they didn't need vinegar either! Overall a pretty solid meal and well worth it for its price value. The portions are pretty huge and the prices are all within reasonable range. I'd probably be willing to pop in here again if it was along the way. ”
“ Came here on a cold winter day therefore it was perfect for noodle soup! My friend felt courageous and wanted to try the black sesame noodle which surprisingly was very delicious with nuttiness from the black sesame. The seafood noodle was also good and the noodles had the perfect amount of chew. Unfortunately we weren't impressed by their kimchi selection as it tasted very bland. It was busy and the service was quick. A very nice spot to grab some noodles! ”
